Attorney Brodnax was recommended as a replacement for a former attorney who was incompetent at best. Given I had such a bad experience, my standard for a replacement was very high. Saved my brother from doing himself a grave disservice when the judge asked him to explain why he was before him on the PV. I had the pleasure of representing a co-defendant of Mr. Broadnax's in a complex federal criminal trial before a jury. The trial took 10 weeks and involved mid-trial depositions and legal arguments before the court and direct appeal to the jury. Pleasant exhibited enormous legal capability had a firm grasp on the facts and was able to connect with the jury in a way that many lawyers only wish they could.
